Mike is an experienced Health and Safety professional with over 12 years’ experience in a range of sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, pharma and construction. Mike is a registered Health and Safety Professional with NZISM, and holds Master’s Degrees in Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Science (specialising in Industrial Risk Management). The ability to frame management problems in the language of Risk is a key tool Mike uses to support decision makers. Mike has experience operating at both strategic and operational levels.

Mike’s background includes five years in the NZ Defence Force, prompting him to bring a focus on simple, adaptable, solutions that are built around the needs of front line staff. A former Lifeline team member, his other professional passion is mental health and wellbeing. Mike is based in Otaki near Wellington.
